As part of our commitment to regulatory compliance and environmental responsibility in Belgium, we would like to inform our customers that the purchase of a Sofar Solar BTS 5K battery is subject to a mandatory environmental levy.
An amount of €144.50 excluding VAT must be added for each battery purchased, as a direct contribution to Bebat, the organisation responsible for managing batteries and accumulators in Belgium. This measure is in accordance with current Belgian environmental legislation.
Important: When purchasing a lithium battery, please add the corresponding product "Bebat Sofar Solar BTS 5K Environmental Levy" according to the number of batteries you are ordering. Otherwise, we will recalculate and invoice the amount after the purchase.
This tax applies only to Belgian customers.
